Evnao respects your privacy and provides mechanisms for requesting deletion of personal data associated with your Evnao account, workspace, conversations, and connected services.
This User Data Deletion Policy explains how registered Evnao users, workspace owners, customers of businesses using Evnao, and users of connected platforms such as Facebook and Instagram can request deletion of their data.
This policy should be read together with Evnao's Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and Terms of Service.
This policy applies to personal data processed through Evnao, including, where applicable:
Connected channels may include services such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, support email, website chat, and other integrations supported by Evnao.
The exact data associated with a deletion request depends on the services and integrations being used.
Depending on your relationship with Evnao, Evnao may process personal data in different capacities.
For information required to create and administer your Evnao account, manage subscriptions, secure the Service, and communicate with you, Evnao may act as a data controller or equivalent entity under applicable privacy law.
If you communicate with a company using Evnao for customer support, that company will generally determine why and how your customer-support information is processed.
In those situations, the business may act as the data controller and Evnao may process the information on the business's behalf as a processor or service provider.
You may submit your deletion request directly to the business.
You may also contact Evnao. When necessary, we may identify the relevant business, forward or coordinate your request with that business, and assist the business in fulfilling the deletion request.
We will not use this distinction to prevent you from submitting a privacy request.
Registered users and authorized workspace owners can submit a privacy request through Evnao.
Evnao will record the request and begin the verification and deletion process.
Authorized workspace owners may request deletion of an entire Evnao workspace.
Deleting a workspace may result in the deletion of data associated with that workspace, including, where applicable:
Because workspace deletion can affect multiple users and customer records, Evnao may require additional verification before processing the request.
A request by an individual workspace member to delete their personal Evnao account does not automatically authorize that person to delete the entire workspace.
You do not need an Evnao account to submit a data deletion request.
This applies, for example, if you communicated with a business using Evnao through:
You may submit a request by emailing: privacy@evnao.com
Use the subject: Data Deletion Request
Please provide enough information for us to locate the relevant data, such as:
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, payment-card information, government identification documents, or other highly sensitive information unless Evnao specifically requests information that is reasonably necessary to verify your identity.
If the relevant business is responsible for determining how your information is processed, Evnao may coordinate the request with that business.
If you connected a Facebook Page, Facebook account, Instagram Professional account, or other Meta service to Evnao, you may revoke Evnao's access through Meta.
Removing Evnao from Meta prevents Evnao from continuing to access information through permissions that have been revoked.
However, revoking access is separate from requesting deletion of information that was previously transferred to and stored by Evnao.
If you want previously stored data deleted, you should also submit a deletion request using the methods described in this policy.
Meta may change the names or location of these settings from time to time. You may also access Facebook's application settings directly at: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
After access is revoked, Evnao will no longer intentionally use the revoked authorization to retrieve new information from that Meta account.
This page also serves as Evnao's public User Data Deletion Instructions for services connected through the Meta Platform.
If Meta directs you to Evnao to request deletion of information associated with a Facebook or Instagram connection, you may:
Include enough information to identify the applicable account, workspace, Facebook Page, Instagram account, or business relationship.
Where Evnao receives a valid deletion request through a Meta-supported deletion mechanism, Evnao will process the request in accordance with this policy.
Before deleting personal data, Evnao may need to verify that the person submitting the request is:
Verification protects users against unauthorized or malicious deletion requests.
Verification methods may include:
Evnao will avoid requesting unnecessary personal information solely for verification.
Information collected specifically for verification will be used for that purpose and for associated security and compliance requirements.
The exact deletion process depends on the scope of the request.
Where applicable, Evnao will delete, anonymize, or otherwise permanently dissociate covered personal information from identifiable individuals in its active systems.
Covered data may include customer messages, AI responses, conversation transcripts, tickets, ratings, contact details, conversation metadata, and internal notes.
Where an entire account is deleted, covered data may include profile information, account preferences, membership records that are no longer required, authentication information controlled by Evnao, and other personal data associated exclusively with the deleted account.
When an applicable integration is removed, Evnao will delete or revoke credentials associated with that connection where those credentials are under Evnao's control and no longer required. This may include OAuth access tokens, Page access tokens, integration-specific credentials, and other authorization information associated with the deleted connection.
Evnao's own platform-level application credentials and security secrets are not personal data belonging to an individual user and are not deleted merely because a user submits a personal-data deletion request.
Where a deletion request covers workspace content, Evnao will remove eligible uploaded documents, extracted text, knowledge-base entries, and associated vector embeddings or derived search representations.
Evnao will take reasonable measures to remove covered information from active caches, search indexes, and other operational systems where the information remains associated with the deleted person or workspace.
Evnao relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate portions of the Service.
Depending on the features being used, personal data may be processed by providers supporting functions such as cloud infrastructure, artificial-intelligence processing, payment and subscription processing, email delivery, analytics, authentication, communications, customer integrations, and security.
When required by applicable law or Evnao's contractual obligations, Evnao will take reasonable steps to instruct relevant processors or service providers to delete covered personal data.
Some third-party providers may retain limited information when they have an independent legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
Information stored directly in an external service that you control may also need to be deleted through that external service. For example, disconnecting an integration from Evnao does not necessarily delete information stored independently within the third-party service itself.
Deleting your Evnao account does not necessarily require deletion of every historical financial or transaction record.
Evnao or its payment providers may retain limited records where necessary for purposes such as accounting, taxation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, chargebacks, regulatory compliance, or establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Where possible, information retained for these purposes will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and will not continue to be used for unrelated purposes.
Deletion from Evnao's active production systems does not necessarily mean that every encrypted backup containing historical information can be individually modified immediately.
Where covered information remains temporarily within protected backups:
If a backup containing previously deleted personal data must be restored for disaster-recovery purposes, Evnao will take reasonable steps to ensure that applicable deletion requirements are reapplied.
Evnao aims to complete valid deletion requests without undue delay and ordinarily within 30 days after the request has been sufficiently verified.
Many requests may be completed sooner.
Some requests may require additional time where, for example:
If additional time is required and applicable law requires notice, Evnao will provide that notice and explain the reason for the extension.
Any mandatory shorter deadline under applicable law will take precedence.
The right to deletion is not absolute.
Evnao may retain certain information when retention is reasonably necessary or legally permitted, including where needed to:
When information must be retained, Evnao will limit continued processing to the applicable permitted purpose wherever reasonably possible.
Evnao may retain a limited compliance record showing that a privacy request was received and processed.
Such a record may include information such as:
This record is not intended to recreate deleted conversations, files, or customer content.
Once covered information has been permanently deleted from Evnao's active systems, it may not be recoverable.
Before requesting deletion of an entire workspace or account, you should export any information you are legally entitled to retain and wish to keep.
Evnao may provide a short verification or processing period before executing irreversible deletion where reasonably necessary to prevent unauthorized or accidental deletion.
Certain Evnao services may automatically delete resolved or closed conversations according to the workspace's configured retention settings or subscription plan.
Automatic retention rules operate separately from an individual privacy deletion request.
Submitting a valid privacy deletion request may require Evnao to delete eligible information before it would otherwise be removed through an ordinary retention schedule.
Deleting information from Evnao also does not automatically modify the independent retention practices of an external AI provider or other third-party service.
If Evnao cannot fully comply with a deletion request because an applicable exception applies, Evnao may retain the affected information only to the extent permitted or required.
Where required by applicable law, Evnao will explain:
You may contact privacy@evnao.com if you believe a deletion request has been handled incorrectly.
Depending on where you live and the applicable privacy law, you may have rights concerning your personal data in addition to deletion.
These may include rights to:
These rights may be subject to conditions, limitations, and exceptions under applicable law.
Evnao will not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
If you have concerns about how Evnao processed a deletion request, please contact us first so that we can investigate the issue.
You may also have the right to submit a complaint to the data-protection or privacy authority responsible for your jurisdiction.
For individuals protected by Jordanian data-protection law, complaints may be escalated to the competent Personal Data Protection authorities in Jordan in accordance with applicable procedures.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you may have to contact a competent regulatory authority.
